Playtesting of “the Super Rocket-Stove Cook-off”, the alternative for “The Super Solar Cook-off” in case of bad weather!

The Super Solar Cook-off

is an urban team game-workshop. Each team has 4 members. The number of teams is going to be decided by demand. Each team assigns roles: 2 builders and 2 cooks. The builders get instructions and materials and built the solar cookers, while the cooks must collect the ingredients. The ingredients are hidden in the city, while for every ingredient they find, they can exchange part of it or all at the “market stand”. The first team to bring the first found ingredient back they get to choose their main ingredient. If the teams are not happy with the ingredients they gathered, they can trade with each other, or trade with the neighborhood. Teams that traded with people from the neighborhood and the team that finishes cooking and building first get nails and strings to stabilize their cooker against wind. Once food is in the solar cooker, the solar cooker needs adjustment towards the sun every 45 min. Dishes have to be both delicious and well-cooked. Presentation always matters! In the end, local chefs will judge the dishes and select the best!

The Super Solar Cook-off is going to be played on August 12th at the Playpublik urban game festival!
